About me

Hi, and welcome to my place. I was born in South Korea, studied Visual Art at the University of Iowa in the USA(received my Bachelor of Arts degree there), and lived many years in Vancouver, Canada before returning to my native country. Currently, I live with my husband in Gangwon-do, a mountainous and scenic region of South Korea, working as an artist and fitness instructor.

My artistic journey began with a deep love for oil painting, which gave me freedom to express my passion for color. Over time, my interests have grown, and I now enjoy experimenting with a variety of materials, including ink, fabric, and digital media. This expansion has opened up new ways to convey my passion.

I am particularly fascinated by how colors interact and radiate positive energy. My greatest joy comes from using bold, dynamic colors to bring a painting to life, making it feel alive and vibrant.

For me, art is about celebrating beauty, which I believe is the ultimate source of positive energy. When I am inspired, my goal is to translate that feeling and energy into my work, creating pieces that radiate warmth and positivity to the viewers.
